Homegram is a free app for LG webOS TVs to watch the videos in your own Telegram chats, published by IDEH Labs (Fundación IDEH) under the GNU General Public License, version 3 or any later version. It is an unofficial Telegram client: it uses the Telegram API and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Telegram. This policy describes the app as its public source code works; anyone can check it.
What we collect
Nothing. Homegram has no accounts of ours, advertising of its own, analytics, crash reporting or tracking, and it never sends data to IDEH Labs or to any server of ours. We have no server for it.
What the app connects to
- Telegram's servers, over encrypted connections, to sign in with a QR code, load your chats and folders, search, and stream the videos you play. Telegram receives what any Telegram app sends, under the Telegram Privacy Policy. Like other Telegram apps, Homegram tells Telegram when you have read a chat or watched a video message, sends the reactions you choose, sends the text of a message you ask to translate, and reports views and clicks of the sponsored messages Telegram shows in some channels.
- A service of the app on the TV itself (127.0.0.1), which passes the video to the TV's own player. It keeps the parts in memory only and writes nothing to disk.
- The TV's system information (model, webOS version and free memory), read on the TV to choose a lighter or fuller interface and how many video parts to download at once. It is not sent anywhere.
What stays on your TV
Your Telegram session, your settings, where you stopped each video and which ones you watched, your last 10 searches, the measured download speed, and technical data about the last 10 playbacks (format, size, timings; no titles and no content). Homegram only plays videos: it cannot download, export or forward them, including those a chat protects from saving. “Log out” in Settings ends the session on Telegram's servers and erases all of this from the TV; uninstalling the app also removes it.
Children and content
Homegram is not directed to children and collects no data from anyone. It shows only the chats of the Telegram account you sign in with; we provide, host and recommend no content.

Homegram es una app gratuita para televisores LG webOS para ver los videos de tus propios chats de Telegram, publicada por IDEH Labs (Fundación IDEH) bajo la Licencia Pública General de GNU, versión 3 o cualquier versión posterior. Es un cliente no oficial de Telegram: usa la API de Telegram y no está afiliada a Telegram ni respaldada por Telegram. Esta política describe la app tal como funciona su código fuente público, que cualquiera puede revisar.
Qué recogemos
Nada. Homegram no tiene cuentas nuestras, publicidad propia, analíticas, informes de errores ni rastreo, y nunca envía datos a IDEH Labs ni a ningún servidor nuestro. No tenemos servidor para ella.
A qué se conecta la app
- A los servidores de Telegram, por conexiones cifradas, para iniciar sesión con un código QR, cargar tus chats y carpetas, buscar y transmitir los videos que reproduces. Telegram recibe lo mismo que envía cualquier app de Telegram, bajo la Política de privacidad de Telegram. Como otras apps de Telegram, Homegram avisa a Telegram cuando has leído un chat o visto un videomensaje, envía las reacciones que eliges, envía el texto de un mensaje que pides traducir e informa de las vistas y clics de los mensajes patrocinados que Telegram muestra en algunos canales.
- A un servicio de la propia app en la TV (127.0.0.1), que pasa el video al reproductor de la TV. Guarda los trozos solo en memoria y no escribe nada en el disco.
- A la información del sistema de la TV (modelo, versión de webOS y memoria libre), que se lee en la TV para elegir una interfaz más ligera o más completa y cuántos trozos del video descargar a la vez. No se envía a ninguna parte.
Qué queda en tu TV
Tu sesión de Telegram, tus ajustes, dónde te quedaste en cada video y cuáles viste, tus 10 últimas búsquedas, la velocidad de descarga medida y datos técnicos de las 10 últimas reproducciones (formato, tamaño, tiempos; sin títulos ni contenido). Homegram solo reproduce videos: no puede descargarlos, exportarlos ni reenviarlos, tampoco los que un chat protege contra el guardado. «Cerrar sesión» en Ajustes termina la sesión en los servidores de Telegram y borra todo esto de la TV; desinstalar la app también lo borra.
Menores y contenido
Homegram no está dirigida a niños y no recoge datos de nadie. Solo muestra los chats de la cuenta de Telegram con la que inicias sesión; no ofrecemos, alojamos ni recomendamos contenido.
